Learn how to use Twitter

Posted on November 18, 2013 by Creative Steam

Members of the Islands’ Partnership (IP) who are not already using Twitter as a marketing tool are being invited to sign up to a  FREE ”Twitter for Beginners” training course taking place on Thursday 28th November – 10.30am-12.30pm.

As well as explaining how Twitter can be an effective marketing tool for small businesses, the event will be a hands-on affair designed to help those new to Twitter to sign up and get tweeting. To this end, participants will be encouraged to come with their laptops and mobile devices.

Twitter is a great way to keep up to date with useful information amongst businesses and individuals who interest you, and can also be a great marketing tool to draw attention to your own  products or services. Twitter encourages businesses to engage with their customers directly by transmitting up to date ‘here and now’ information.

Please sign up by close of business this Friday, November 22nd, so that numbers can be ascertained and a suitable venue booked on St Mary’s.   Any non-member of the IP interested in attending the training should contact the office on 424036 or email enquiries@islandspartnership.co.uk
