Your website is the most important marketing tool you have.
Everything you do to market your business should lead consumers (visitors, customers, potentials), to it, whether it’s social media, poster advertising, PR, point of sale collateral, signage, leaflets etc etc. You should make sure it is mobile friendly – more than 50% of people these days look at websites from mobile devices. And you should update it regularly with useful, easy to find, content to enhance your Google ranking.
So if you’ve not updated your website in the last five or six years (since 2010 say) it is essential that you do. People want to find what they are looking for easily. Your website not only has to be attractive and informative, but consumers expect to be able to book / purchase on line these days too.
There are a wealth web hosting and web building sites that you can choose from who will also look after your email accounts for you. Go-daddy, 123-reg, WordPress, Wix, Weebly etc – and there are companies that offer very reasonable support services too to help you keep up-to-date with website development.
